While registering for branch, there showing that regustration has already been taken on same PAN .
so how will be register a branch in other state for an assessee.

No need to take registration. You need add this has additional place of business. Same can be done online through changes for non core field
while adding as additional place of bussiness, not able to add other state where the branch actually exist, so state is diifrenet as additional place is not able to be included in existing registration.
You need to apply in the state where branch has been located. It will be considered a new registration. As far as I know you can not do this in your existing login credentials. You need to approach you local
