Branch accounts (pcc) is a huge chapter.can someone tell me if there are any unimportant topics which i can leave out. dont want to waste time..only want to do the imp topics from exam point of view..

Please dont let these kind of thoughts to enter into your minds. ICAI has its own way of setting papers. No one can judge that. For eg. in JUNE 2009 exams in accountancy's paper one Q was from Electricity Co's A/cs and one from NPO( highest marks Q1), one was from pre acquisition and post acquisition profits. So you cannot leave any topic by judging that as unimportant. In that paper no Q were there from Branch A/cs or other chapters that are considered most important in PCC. If you do not want to waste time then focus on big chapters but also give at least 20% of time to small chapters. BUT PLEASE DONT TRY TO LEAVE ANY CHAPTER. BECAUSE "WHENEVER WE LEAVE ANY CHAPTER THE PROBABILITY OF COMING IT IN EXAMS INCREASES EXPONENTIALLY.:

i agree.. so guess i ll have to somehow manage my time and revise it all..thanks..
