Scanners are good for nothing now these days.....as.....ICSI is framing question paper with 85% or more entirely new questions................

Prefer ICSI Modules first for exam preparation............. Rest U may buy other books by going to bookstore and u urself ask shopkeeper his opinion for the books............And then take ur own decision........

All books are one and the same thing..............That book will b considered best who contains almost all syllabus of ICSI Modules in a proper format...........

Avoid buying Sangeet Kedia Books because it's a cut , copy & paste of SCANNER. Not covered entire syllabus...............

Agree with the observations of Rahul sir. Yes, as far as possible try to give more importance to study material and guideline answers. For specific subjects like FTFM / ATLP  you can ponder buying a standard text book.

Yes, Scanners are not going to help you build a competitive professional life, better to avoid them as far as possible.

Order of Preparation;

1. Module - read carefully, do markings

2. Mark Pages for Answers of Self Test Qestions at the end of each chaper and Test Papers given at the end of Module

3. Read Guideline Answers from June 2009 onwards, send me your email address I have soft copy of all the subjects of all modules of professional programme.

4. Read Shuchita Prakashan Solved Scanners-Green Edition

5. Buy Suggested Answers of Series 2011 from ICSI Delhi contact at Stores 01204522097

6. Prepare small part of each paper very thoroly, e.g. 30marks, 20marks, 50marks - Part - C, Part - B, so that you can score maximum marks in minimum chaper preparation.

Qestion Paper Style and mood

1. There is no trend.

2. Institute never ask any question out of syllabus, somewhere the Q. or A. are mentioned in Module. 

3. Observe the chart given by Shuchita Prakashan Solved Scanner for priority chapters. Do those chapters thoroughly from Module and Scanner.

4. Most of the questions are asked from Suggested Answers 2011 series (25 marks) and past papers of Scanners (25 Marks), only some way of asking is different, Module Self Test Question given behind each chapter (25 marks), one question of (20-25 Marks) will be not known question, means absolutely new question from Module-syllabus.

5.You can pass in first attempt, if you have prepared questions thoroly from Module, Scanner, Guidelines, Suggested.

Dear Friends,

Please note that;

1.  it is very rare possibility and hard to get Suggested Answers on internet. 

2. Suggested Answers can be availed only on obtaining the CC Certificate after Submitting and passing CC papers. Submit CC Papers thru Speed Post of Regi. A.D. So that u can get proof of submission of CC Papers.

3. If CC Certificate is not received, but CC Papers are submitted and you have got proof of submission such as Speed Post Receipt, Regi.A.D Receipt., you can request store(01204522097) to giv info. about latest Series of Suggested Answers and permission to buy S.A.and then you can buy it @ 70/-per book thru DD to be sent along with application for purchase of S.A.+copy of CC Certi or copy of Speed Post Receipt.

4. If you do not get S.A., u can page mark those answers on your module. Find Answer and para n there u write e.g. 4/2011-Q.4.B and write Page no. 99 against 4/2011- @ 4.B. Do the page marks in simillar manner for Self Test Questions given behind each chapter.

5. While revising for exam, please read these Q.A. carefully from module and whn u are preparing keep Solved Scanner with you to refer the Chaper Priority Chart and the Q.A which is not given in S.A., Self Test Qs. n G.A. So that u are thoro with all the possible Q.A. Out of All these approx 150-175 Q.A. frm all the possible material provided by icsi, all of u can pass with at least 55-60% marks by writing 6 Q.A. out of these 150-175 Q.A.. Even if u cn not write That one Q. of 20-25marks which is absolutely new but is from Module only, still out of 80-75 marks, u can get 55-60%, if u have prepared from Module, G.A.(past 5 yrs=10attempts), S.A. and Solved Scanner. 

6. Below mention please find a very useful link by one of our friend at CCI for CS Professional (Old-2007 Course) Students, related to Solved Guideline Answers from June 2009 to December 2011.
