yeah in some provisions examples are also given...the biggest advantage of bhanwar borana compact book is its in hand written format and simple language I.e. one can easily understand what the provision talking about ? its best book for revision in less time. in addition to it bhanwar borana sir has already uploaded his revision , amendments, and case law lectures....which I think better to view the lectures while heaving compact book...

you can do institute's practice manual or bhanwar borana sir's practice manual for solving practical ques

You should refer the COMPACT of Bhanwar Bhorana. It is one of the best book for self study for CA Final Direct Tax.

It is a handwritten book which is very easy to understand and make you feel of self handwritten notes..

Durgesh singh is far better. 

Refer Vinod gupta or T N manoharan. There is no shortcut to clear DT dont loose your attempt in trying unkown books. I dont have any information about Durgesh sir book but my few friends used banwar bora this book is not upto mark. No any practical problems, no explanation. I have not seen anyone who passed DT by referring this book. Dont go with false publicity.

Institute study material and Practice Manual is THE best. All ohers are second only

You may refer Dr. Girish Ahuja book. it's good. but for exam point of view, after referring please do write and practice manual and material of institute

among these two, durgesh singh would be better for revision.... there are summary modules of vinod gupta and t n manoharan also available...
