Bond/LUT for Export of Service

is Bond or Letter of Undertaking is mandatory for export of service without payment of IGST ???

Yes , either charge IGST on export else file LUT
But it's very simple to file LUT online on portal , so file the LUT & export without charging IGST

with LUT No need to charge IGST Tax
without LUT needs to charge IGST tax

exports are considered zero rated supplies under sec 16 of IGST Act and you can export With payment of IGST or
Under a bond or letter of undertaking.
a taxpayer who exports the goods or service will have to furnish LUT in GST RFD-11 form on the GST portal.

Hello Mr Pankaj,

Can LUT for the past period i.e. FY2017- 18 and FY2018-19 can be filed now as export were made without payment of GST but LUT were not filed earlier ?
