A Board Meeting can not be called on a National Holiday(SS1: 1.2.2)
As per explanation to section 96(2) of the companies Act 2013, : National Holiday: means and includes a day declared as national Holiday by the Central Government.
There are three national holidays in India: Independence Day on 15 August, Mahatma Gandhi's birthday on 2 October, and Republic Day on 26 January.
Board meetings are not barred to be held in abraod.
If such is the case, whether a Board meeting can be held outside India on any of the dates mentioned above?
