no i don't think there is any holiday on 2 nd may. 'coz no announcement in such regard is posted on the official site of icai.

i never said anything abt the exam gettin post poned or abt any ICAI notice.
BUT do u think its the same for an examinee to go to his/her centre for the exam on a "bandh" day jst like any normal day?

Yes, even I heard about the Bandh...I am to travel on that day to Calcutta and I dunno if this bandh thing is going to cause me misery. These guys are idiots!
