Bills in Sets..!?

Guys,

in bills in sets, the drawer might sign each part of the bill and drawee shall accept it.. But generally the concept is different in case of cheque na....In cheque drawee keeps sufficient funds in his account for presentment on due date for Drawer....This concept is kinda confusing. Can nyone xplain it ..!? Thnks reply asap.
