we have 2 manufactiring plants, Plant A is in Bangalore & plant B is in Chennai. Both of the plants having different GST registered numbers.
we are using SAP, billing document is created. Both plants A&B having same number ranges for the billing documents.
Ex. plant A - 91
plant B - 92
These billing documents numbers has to upload in E-way bill portal.
My doubt is.
1. Can we maintain same billing numbe ranges for different GST registrations.
2. For E-way bill can we upload same number ranges for different GST registrations.

invoice no should be in series. if you use single series in two different state for different registration, it will be non compliance of invoice rule.
