Big 4 or midsize firm.... which is better????

Well nimish , I do agree with what your friends said. As I have heard from some of my friends who r in big firms that they got 100% experience in one field.Like they know a-z of how to prepare caro but they dont know even a-b of Tax audit........It was just an example...........plz clarify if I m wrong................

According to me the Midium Size firm will be preferable because in Big4 you will be engage for a particular section, so you can not earn knowledge in all section which you need in your articleship.

Nimish, big 4 in Chennai gives good amount of leaves as far as i know. ALso, if you want to do practise in the long run, try in the following types of firm then, where u will get good exposure, stipend as well as exam leave, for instance, Grant Thornton, Sharp & Tannan, R.G.N.Price, Price Patt & Co., K.S.Iyer & Co.
