If you have a good reference...you will be hired...no matter how horrible your technical skills are

Have faith on your technical skills...

Nowadays Big4 do hire people who have cleared after 3 attempts but you need to be technically sound/good in AS,Taxation etc to get into Big 4.

Attempts do matter and people who have given more attempts are interviewed seriously and striclty.

Prepare yourself for the technical rounds and HR rounds and remember that for getting through  BIG 4 interviews you need to compete with 15 or 20 people and hence give your honest preparations for a successful interview.

You need to know someone working inside the BIG4 (whatever position he/she may be) to move your resume to the HR of Big 4...

So try your reference and he/she need not be your friend.

3. When to take leave for exams

Yes Agreed..You need to have reference if u want to do ur articleship in big 4 and your marks or attempts will not be considered in that case.

Look dear, it is what others believe to be in BIG 4, u should have reference. I Don't believe so dear. To be there u need to get first prepared your self for the BIG 4 i.e. interviews, personality development, speaking skills and other skills such as your behaviour, common sense, management of people, ideas, you should have the leadership skills etc. There are many more things to be there.

One more thing i would like to say that just prepare for 100% and u should know better know what is 100%, if you are not selected there than there should be some reason for that but dont let your self down due to any reason. 

I have met with most of the people asking for the same questions many of them fail and pass also. But i only told them just give your 100 % and wait for the best..there will be your time one day.

Therefore i believe that 

TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST BUT TOUGH PEOPLE REALLY DO.
