Pallavi...what i will suggest you here is called smart studying..for AAS u shud try and search for notes on the files section..i studied those..if you can remember that, it will serve your purpose..

For costing- i studied theory from Compiler and for practical the compiler is ur bestest friend...you just have to not cheat urself...give a sincere attempt in solving the question before looking at the answers...i taped the Standard costing formulas on my mirror so that i cud revise that everyday

Direct Tax- Vinod kumar Gupta..that book is a life saver...it has one module which summarises all the topics...that is invaluable

Indirect tax- i studied from bangar but i found it too vast...i didnt score well in IDT..i got a 44

rest all the 7 subjects i scored 50+..

Dear friends, I purchased the present edition of BANGAR 2-3 days before and while comparing it with the previous edition of BANGAR book which I got from my friend, I came to know that lots of previous years solved questions are absent from the present edtion. May be this is because the publisher launched a COMPILER BY BANGAR FOR IDT from this attempt. There are some illustrations alse which are missing. So, if the absence of these previous year solved questions and illustrations doen not affects the book I will stick woth this book otherwise I have to get it change in few days for a better one.

Kindly advice in this regard.
