Best book for auditing for ca ipcc for self study

No one book is good. So go for Kamal Garg + Surbhi Bansal combination. SA's and few small chaps can be done from Surbhi and rest from Garg.

hey dilip place ur money on surbhi bansal....and cent % u"ll not be disappointed....its is gr8 book for auditing...lucid language...easy to remember charts.....on the oder hand i felt padhuka a lil to heavy on course material....

surabhi bansal is a good book for studies.. . Practise manual should be definitely studied because u can expect some questions directly from it. also refer to rtp both new and 3or 4 attempts prior and see the areas not asked earlier. that may be asked

For coverage of All syllabus, Padhuka is better

surbhi bansal 's book is really gud for self study 

Personally when I had given PCC I had referred a book by Taxmann Publications written by Aruna Jha for all the non standards related theory and the module for the SAs. Surbhi Bansal IPCC book is quite popular though I dont know how it is but the final one is decent (considering that Final CA Audit comes hardly from the book)
