Hello Everyone, Can anyone please tell me can we file belated returns as last verified return is showing for AY 2018-19 but return has been filled till AY 2019-20 but ITR is not summitted as per income tax site. So, what to do for AY 2019-20 & can return filling for AY 2020-21 & AY 2021-22 is possible with NIL tax or what to do in this situation.

I have check the site for condonation but there is no option showing to apply for return filling only option is showing for return verification.

No, ITR filing is not possible now for any of the above-mentioned AYs.
If there has been any tax liability then you could have filed ITR U for AY 2020-21 and AY 2021-22. The same was recently announced by the government.
Further, if you have any refund to be claimed then you can file the return after condonation of a delay from dept.

If you have taxable income you can file ITR U for both the year.
If filing was not done then one can't use ITR U
Available for non filers also.
What is the meaning of updated return?
You are replying on query and you don't know about Updated return.
