Be confident, you seem smarter than you actually are

Dear all, the topic “Be Confident” may seem to be damn ordinary…..I know it is, but I wish to give it an entirely new perspective.

I would like to begin with a quote on confidence by Norman Vincent Peale. It says, “Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy.” Well, needless to say, we all agree.

Here I wish to point out that not just for yourself, but you need to be confident for the world. The world sees you the way you present yourself to it. You seem smarter when you appear to be more confident. Learn to cover up for your flaws and weaknesses. Appear confident and the world deems you to be intelligent. Being confident has many advantages….people don’t just say that you are confident, but they assume you are intelligent, talented, smart and mature- it’s a different matter you really are or not, but people ASSUME you to be! Now dat's great…isn’t it?
