AS per para 3.2.2 of the RBI/2008-09/143 DBOD.No.BP.BC.No.37 /21.04.132/2008-09 dated August 27, 2008 "The non-performing assets, upon restructuring, would continue to have the same asset classification as prior to restructuring and slip into further lower asset classification categories as per extant asset classification norms with reference to the pre-restructuring repayment schedule.

Can anybody explain me the exact meaning of the highlighted matter. Thanks in advance
