Allocation list for Bank Branch audit have not yet been provided at RBI site , though SBI and CANARA Bank have taken consent from identified audit firms for appointment , but not yet issued Appointment letter to them .

Our firm's name is on the Bank Auditors List in Category II, but so far no appointment letter has been received. Can anyone clarify whom to approach about the same in RBI or ICAI?

ICAI has requested for information from those audit firms not appointed for bank branch audit for the year 2008-09 , while they were continously getting audit assignments since 2004-05.

SBI have allocated audit firms to respective LHO and they will inform within 2 -3 days.
