Oversees the general accounting function, by insuring the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and the resultant financial statements. May lead/direct the most complex general accounting projects. Establishes medium to long-range plans for the work groups managed to achieve broader functional or cross-functional objectives. May include the development and maintenance of planning and budgeting systems, analysis and interpretation of trends requiring management's attention, the preparation of financial and management reports and procedures, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management on a regular basis. Resolves conflicts between work teams over resource allocation and other critical issues. Defines the goals and objectives for one or more function business group. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems. This job has supervisory responsibility.
Typically requires 10 plus years global experience preferably US multinational. CPA is mandatory and working knowledge of SAP is critical.
