Is balance sheet required for GST registration of an individual? A tax professional insisted me to provide balance sheet to complete my GST Registration..

PAN , aadhaar , photo , mobile no , email , bank account, address proof of premises .

These are required but balance sheet is not required

Financials might be to check turnover..GST registration may not be required if it is below turnover threshold

Just to ascertain the whether GST registration is required, one has to look into P & L A/c ..

But Balance sheet is not required..

Check with them why it is required?
