Is balance sheet required for GST registration of an individual? A tax professional insisted me to provide balance sheet to complete my GST Registration..

A balance sheet is not required for gstvregistration.
PAN , aadhaar , photo , mobile no , email , bank account, address proof of premises .

Financials might be to check turnover..GST registration may not be required if it is below turnover threshold
There is no requirement of balance sheet in GST registration,
Just to ascertain the whether GST registration is required, one has to look into P & L A/c ..
