Balance Sheet _ Doubt

Dear Members,

 

the company was incorporated in april 2008.. n no production nothing done.. n no balance sheet has been made till now...

 

can the c.a make the balance sheet if 31.03.2010 directlyyy???

 

can they ??

Even though no transaction you have to file balance sheet for the 31.3.09 with nil amount.It will show share capital and misc. expenditure pre incorporation expenses and bank.

I dont Know the section Number in companies Act.The period should not exceed 18 Months

Balance Sheet is required to be placed in AGM, as such it would have been placed in AGM 2009 for the period as on 31 March 2009. Irrespective of business Balance sheet is required to be prepared. Balance shhet can be prepared just incorporating pre-liminary expenses.

For FY 2010 period of balance sheet will be from April 2009 to March 2010.

Agree with shivram the total period of balance sheet should not be more then 18 months.So in your case the company should must file the balance sheet as on the date 31.03.2009.....

thanks a loot...it is 15 monthsss as per section 210..

 

but in reality no accounts hav been made till now and noo filing with ROC...wat the c.a shud doo?

Prepare accounts accordingly...and make necessary filing with ROC

need to give this suggestion to c.a... sooo i shud tell him to prepare the accounts as on july 2009 (15 months from april 2008)....and then now file the annual filing forms rite????

but if there is defered reven expenditure it should be written off.......... in the asset side of the balnce sheet.....

for every company this expenditure will be ..............
