Balance sheet Date

When your company's financial year spans from 9th February 2017 to 31st March 2018, disclosing the balance sheet date requires specific attention. You cannot simply state 31st March 2018 as the balance sheet date. Instead, the relevant period must be clearly mentioned within the notes to the accounts. This approach ensures accurate financial reporting, unless there are exceptional circumstances like amalgamation or the formation of a new company.
