AY25-26 ITR2 excel utility attempts to validate Schedule Salary and shows error asking to fill all values even though I have deleted it from the list of schedules as it (Schedule S) is not applicable to me. During the past years I have filed thru offline ITR2 java utility after deleting Schedule S without any such problem. Can anyone help with how to prevent the utility from checking a deleted schedule.
Check and ensure that there are no residual references to the deleted Schedule Salary in the Excel utility or related files. Sometimes, deleting a schedule might not remove all associated data or references.
2.Update ITR 2 or Reinstall the excel Utility to the latest version.
3.Clear Cache or Temporary files associated with the Excel utility.
