Authorized signatory

Can an employee of a private limited company sign as a authorized signatory on a letter sent to a client/bank etc? In my opinion, an employee informally authorized to send a letter should sign mentioning the employees' designation and not as an authorized signatory.

What is your opinion?

Thanks

pass board resolution for the same you can sign document of bank on behalf of company but not cheque

but if the document are more imp then it is always advisable to sign by director

i think he can sign. in case of big companies, the Diretcors giev powers to emplyees to sign and send letters.

moreover to sign cheques on behalf of the Company. i think he can write authorised signatory

however he cannot sign roc papers.

I agree with Mr. Valji

Thanks to all. Really appreciate it.
