I am a newbie onto CA Club and don't know this category is perfect to ask this question or not. So, if I am wrong please sorry for that.
I want to know, is sparshindia.com authorized by income tax department of India?
Actually my old PAN card was misplaced and I didn’t know I can get its reprinted copy. So, I applied for a new PAN card and have received with new PAN number. Now, I want to cancel one PAN card as keeping two PAN cards is not legal.
But, when I went to the https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ they are referring to the https://www.utitsl.co.in/ and https://www.tin-nsdl.com/ for PAN services. But, after surfing around 1-1 hours on both website I didn't found any form or link to apply cancelation of additional PAN card.
Then I went on Google to search online PAN cancelation link and found https://incometax.sparshindia.com/pan/newPAN.asp to surrender additional PAN.
But, it is not mentioned anywhere on https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in using this link is safe and authorized by income tax department of India.
So, I request you experts to guide me on this. Is it safe using https://incometax.sparshindia.com/pan/newPAN.asp? Can I use it to surrender my additional PAN?
