Auditor Appointment

Once the intimation has received from the company to the auditor. You have to file form 23B. Once those forms are filed for the respective years then only you can audit and file Balance sheet and others . Because once you have audited you have to file form 23AC and ACA (B/S and P/L) . In that you have to mention the SRN  of Form 23B that you have filed for the corresponding years.

You will have to pay additional fees for the delay based on your Authorised Capital.

File the following form in the following sequence FOR EACH YEAR :-

Form 23B

Form 20B

Form 23AC

Form 23ACA

Form 66 (If applicable)

U have also keep in your record the resignation from previous auditor.

communicate wid previous auditor in written form. & also keep the resignation letter of previous auditor & his NOC.

(comply wid the requirements of Chartered Accountants Act )

On getting enquiry as to willingness to act as auditor:

First get the consent of previous auditor if any,

then make sure that you are within the 224(1B) ceiling and ICAI ceiling of 30,

then communicate your willingness to the board to be appointed

Make sure that the previous auditor is not re-appointed (see special notice to members)

Get the certified resolution from director of the member's meeting appointing you.

Make sure form 23B filed with ROC  after getting the resolution. Then start the audit.
