Kindly let me know the procedure for Chartered Accountant & Non CA to register / certified for conducting Audit of Maharashtra Housing & Credit Societies.

One has to appear and pass Government Diploma in Co-operative Accountancy i. e., GDCA to enroll / register as Auditor for Co-operative Socities. These examination is conducted every year in April - May.

You have to pass the govt. exam i.e. GDCA which is held every May 3rd week. Forms are released in mid of january every year ( still not released ). Forms available at Malhotra house, mumbai and at thane, Deputy registrar office.Notes and classes available at De'Sai Education Thane ph : 022-25348823.

After passing the exam you have to submit a practice certificate in the co-operative field after passing your exam, then only you will be able to apply for the auditors panel.

Merely passing GDCA exam is not enough for Auditing Co-operative Societies. After passing you have to gain min 3 yrs experience in the co-op field ( especially credit soc or co-op banks ) and then only one will be allowed to apply for the empanelment of Auditors ( forms available at deputy registrar offices for limited and specific period ). Once appllied all the documents are verified and the candidates name is added to the panel auditors list. You can verify the list with the co-op dept. You can view GDCA results at www.mahresult.nic.in

This regarding one of your previous posts that we require 3 years experience in co-operative field, my question to you is that how can we gain co-operative field experience???? what are the means of gaining work???are there any firms woh hire gdc & a passed candidates?? what is the scope of income if one chooses this as a full time profession???? please help....

Dear Sir,

After GDCA exam what is the procedure to enroll for a registrar audit panel? And how many years of experience is required and on which field? i.e. cooperative field or any accounting of pvt. co. or which CA - CA or CA with GDCA cerificate?

Please help me out. I am very much confused?
