Quick Summary
The GST registration threshold limit in Assam has been increased to ₹40 Lakhs, but this applies specifically to businesses exclusively supplying goods. This change, effective from 1st April 2019, was introduced via Notification No. 10/2019 - Central Tax (Rate). The discussion also touches upon potential amendments from August 2020, though clarification is sought on their specifics.
