Eveytime it strucks to my mind that Accounting standards ko bhi koi karta hai kya....?as parveen sharma has covered so many practical problems and theory in AS.....just tell the weightage of AS in xams....i mean generally xam mein kitne marks ke puche jata hai....i knw also its unexpected ki kitne ke aa jaye.....help me?

Dear AS are very important. Its having weightage in both accounting & auditing paper. U have to prepare well for AS, it will also helpful in ur Final exam n also in work during ur articleship. So dnt take in lightly.
in aggregate it covers almost more than 50 marks for ca final in accounts and audit

At IPCC level you don't have to go into depth for AS. Read all the basic points and solve question answers and compiler. Weightage of marks depends..... however in Nov 10 exam the first compulsary questions (20 marks) was full of AS. |
