Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether income from artistic work can be declared under Section 44ADA of the Income Tax Act for presumptive taxation. While Section 44ADA is generally applicable to specific professions like movie artists, clarification is needed for other types of artists, such as those involved in drawing. For artists not explicitly listed under Section 44ADA, Section 44AD might be a more suitable option for declaring income to avoid invalid returns.

1) What type of Artist?.

2) you mean to say Business Code , because SAC codes are applicable in GST , and business codes are applicable in income tax.
Yes, income receipts from artist work can be declared under section 44ADA for presumptive taxation

As per my understanding , section 44 ADA of the income tax Act ,is not applicable to all the Artists , please correct me if I am wrong.

Applicable to
movie artists includes a producer, editor, actor, director, music director, art director, dance director, cameraman, singer, lyricist, story writer, screenplay or dialogue writer and costume designers
