Articleship transfer

Hi everybody,

i came to know that icai will not allow any more transfers as i ve already taken one. I would like to know something. My firm has branches accross India. Presently, I am in Bangalore. Suppose I shift to another location, say mumbai will there be a change in the principal i am currently regd under and wil that be considered an articleship transfer, though the firm remains the same. Pl reply.
