Articleship termination during 3rd year
hello. i want to terminate my articleship during 3rd year on medical grounds. if i do so there should be a 3 months gap to get registered again. if i dont take termination my final attempt will be on may 22. suppose if i take termination will my final attempt be postponed? since there is gap of 3 months. please clear my doubt. i need this information to attend adv itt course.

Terminating on medical grounds is permissible if documented correctly, but it will affect your timeline. Any gap created by this process will not count toward your three-year training requirement, which may push your eligibility for the CA Final exam to a later attempt if you are unable to complete the required service duration before the exam cycle begins. You are strongly advised to check your current "effective" completion date on your SSP dashboard to see if a gap will push you past the exam eligibility cut-off.
