Articleship registration period

The total duration of articleship is calculated from the date on which the agreement in Form 102 is made between the article and the principal. 

The filled articles registration form (not the deed) have to be sent to the institute within 30 days of executing the agreement.

If you have already executed the agreement before five months before and have not yet sent the articles reg. form to the Institute for registration, a condonation fee will be charged by the Institute for late submission of reg. forms.

It is possible to execute the agreement for an earlier date.

But the date must not be before the stamp paper date (i.e the date that the stamp paper bears).

You need not attach the stamp paper along with the reg. form.

In the reg. form you have to mention the date of commencement of articleship and that date must be the one on which the articles agreement is entered into.

The reg. form after signed by you as well by your principal have to be sent to the institute for registration.

i ve cleared both group of ipcc in nov 2012 but i did my orientation on may 9th to may 15th so because of this my attempt got delayed by 6 months ...after that i havent made any registration toward final nor articleship .expect the form no. 103 with my priciple and even i didnt took any stiphend with him  so as to take collective payment... in this case can i get  my articleship registered wiith back date or from date of joining i.e 17th may 2013so as to my final attempt be on may 2016..... need urgent and satisfactory reply..

i have the same query. i also want to register myself for articleship 6 months back date. but, does ICAI take such matter into consideration without any problem? i mean by just paying requisite fee for late registration do they allow 6 month back date registration?
