Hello everyone! I joined articleship on 15/07/2019.
I had to register for articleship on Self Services Portal. So I had to fill Form-102 provided on the portal. The date of commencement of articles mentioned in the Form-102 is 15/07/2019. I didn't know that Form-102 must be executed on the same day i.e., it must be franked on the same date or executed on a non-judicial paper dated either on 15/07/2019 or before. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FORM 102 ON SELF SERVICES PORTAL CANNOT BE EDITED OR MODIFIED ONCE SUBMITTED.
However Regulation 46(1) of the CA Regulation Act, 1988 provides that form shall be sent to the Secretary within 30 days of the commencement. Does that mean that the deed Form-102 can be executed within 30 days of the commencement? Can the deed Form-102 be executed on a stamp paper dated after the date of commencement as mentioned in Form-102?
Please guide me.

Since Form-102 is between the article student and the member I think it shouldn't be a problem except for that Form-102 must be scanned and submitted to ICAI along with Form-103. I mailed to SSP but got no response.
Hiii........I am also facing the same issue... Can you please let me know what was the institute's response to it?? I am also stuck here without backdated stamp paper......

Your Form 103 has been sent back for correction by the regional office with remarks Kindly execute 102 deed on non judicial stamp paper or franking with correct execution date (deed should be execute within 30days from date of commencement i.e. 09-03-2020) and upload the same thru SSP Portal..
Iam already sent with franking date of 24/2/21
But again iam getting same reply Plz guide me what to do

You shud get a back dated stamp paper.. no other option for it......
Did your problem get resolved?...Can you help me I am facing the same issue My articleship start date is 9th September 2019 and franking was done on 22nd October 2019. What process can I do for it?

I didn't have to scan and upload the executed deed along with the form. Hence I faced no problem, SSP registered the commencement date as 15/07/2019 only. But I don't know why I didn't have to scan and upload the executed form.
