Articleship registration

why do  u need copy of DD?  for what purpose?

i have to register for my articleship training. So for that they are asking for a xerox of that DD.

You must have received a letter for confirming your IPCC registration.  In that letter ICAI also confirms receipt of fees.  submit a copy of the same in lieu of the DD.

If they don't accept or if you don't have the letter, the visit the students' section of your regional office. 

i Have that letter but it doesn't mention the amount of fees I paid. Also on contacting the students section of Nagpur branch,they said i will need a copy of that DD.He also said that on the registration letter it is written "with articles" but nothing is written on the registration letter.

There will be an acknowledgement  given by institute at the time of Registration ( short, cuttted slip  basically on dat amount & bank name is mentioned), u provide copy of that acknowledgment.

I had provided the same at Delhi NIRC. They had told to give copy of that acknowledgment only. Please provide the same.

i had sent my reg. form to Kanpur office. But i did not teceive any acknowledgement thereafter.

Okay Let me explain very briefly

U had gone for ipcc registration. Right. U have filled the form. Okay they accepted and cut the little piece of paper from the last page &  they gave u. You should find that piece of paper because bank name & amount is specified in that paper. Search that. Its not possible to be not provided by them. I dont have that paper today but i can show u tomorrow to recognise that acknowledgment. Remind that paper & start searching.

I mailed my form to Kanpur Office. I did not personally go and submit it.I sent my form by speed post. I received only the Registration letter and not the acknowledgement slip.

I understood what you are saying but i did not receive that acknowledgement slip. That is what the problem is!!! I have no proof that i paid Rs12,000/-.

I sent my registration form to Kanpur and I am doing my articleship in Nagpur so I contacted the Nagpur Branch of ICAI.

Then i have no idea  just contact at your branch. They will  suggest you the optimal solution.
