Hi,

Kindly let me know how many days of leave ,we are entitled to in our "articleship period". i am from IPCC scheme and hence my articleship period is for 3 years.So kindly let me know how many days of leave i am entitled to during tenure of my articleship, Some say its 182 days and some people say its 153 days.

so help me kindly clarifyfor the same.

caclculation is like this,

total number of days 3year *365 days=1095

1/6 of 1095=182.5 or 183 days

A trainee earns leave at the rate of one–sixth of the period actually served by him. Leave due is ordinarily

granted, if reasonable notice has been given by the trainee to his MIT / Principal. For detail calculation of

the leave refer to Annexure II of the Training Guide.

Hi,

Kindly let me know after competion of article whatever the day left for give the extention my ca that i can completing the article in other charatered accountant firm. My CA has given me extention for the day of 126 and i wouldn't like to go on that firm. So kindly let me know the procedure of completing my article for 126 day in the other CA firm.

so help me kindly clarifyfor the same.

Hi Amit....

The request, on any one or more of the aforesaid grounds, of an articled assistant on a plain paper alongwith the recommendation/ consent of the Principal for transfer / termination of articleship accompanied by evidence/proof (self-attested by the articled assistant) to the satisfaction of the

nstitute be made. Request for transfer not accompanied by consent of Principal shall not be accepted.

In case of dispute between principal and articled assistant, the matter be settled amicably among the articled assistant and the principal concerned and the Institute shall not interfere in such cases.
