Articleship extension

Hello
I have completed my articleship period of 3 yrs in feb 2021 and need to serve articleship extension. So is it compulsory to serve it under same principal?, if not then can I register in other state for completing my articleship extension?
kindly help me with the issue!

No, you can serve under same state also
