Hi Rahul,

So, in order to make a decision, first step is decide what you want from your articleship.

Is it specialization in one particular area or you want exposure in all the areas?

So, if it specialization in one area (tax, assurance etc.) then go for Big 4. Even medium to large firms (other than big 4s) do not allow changingthe division.

And if you want exposure in many areas, you will have to go into a small firm.

But bear in mind, that in smaller firms, the kind of work may or may not be good enough to give you decent exposure. Big clients are always with Big 4s or larger firms.

Whatver you decide - don't waste a lot of time.
