HI friends, I am articled assistant under direct entry system, my attempt will be in may 2014,,, i am unable to manage the time for study.. 
i just want to know after 9 months of articleship is it ok if i drop it and concentrate on my IPCC and after clearing exam i would restart my articleship please revert me...

1) Firstly - No......
ask your principal in advance for 2 months leave for your i.p.c. examinations.
2)Secondly - Yes..... take termination & re-join after your examination in another articles firm & but take care of i.c.a.i rules.
10. What is eligibility requirement for appearing in the Intermediate (IPC) Examination?
A student who registers for IIPCC/ ATC through CPT route on or before 1st March will be eligible to
appear in the November examination of the year and student who registers on or before 1st
September will be eligible to appear in next May examination on completion of specified period of
8 months study course as on first day of the month in which examination is held.Graduate/ Post Graduate route students shall be eligible to appear in the Intermediate (IPC)
Examination on completion of 9 months of practical training.
