Articles (& Principals too) are govern by the CA Act where as Employees are govern by the Employer Employee Rules (which are Mutual) with respect to Working Hours, Remuneration, Working Period etc..

Its just the basis of applying the different governing rules for using the two different terminology for two different person who carries on generally the same work.
