This mail is to bring a problem to your notice. I belong to a city where our stipulated stipend is Rs.750/- first year, Rs.1000/- IInd and Rs.1250/- IIIrd year. With this stipend we are not able to support our self. Even the Institutes Exam fees for PCE is 1600/-. Off course the CPT reg. fees has been amended to Rs.6000/-. The Stipend is intended to develop self reliance and confidence in us, but I don't think that it doing so. How the respected Prestigious CA Institute’s committees have forgot to revise the stipend with the changing cost of living and Institutes Fees in particular. We would appreciate a respectable hike in the stipend.
