I had a question regarding the army veteran disability pension. How do i claim the tax benefits on the same as I understand it is not taxable. Do I show the income in ITR 1 under the heads Income from salary/ pension. And if yes, under what head do I claim the tax benefit.

No. Declare it under 'Exempted Income' ; Schedule EI.
