ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH THE GTA TAXATION????

Well- taxation has to be done with possibility. When service tax was imposed on GTA operators, they went on nation wide strike and govt. has to yield. Users are not so organised, so they are bearing the burden. Well, just think one thing- why not charge service tax on rail transport of goods? Can you give any reason other than power of Ministry of Railways?

YES GOOD SUGGESTION BUT MY QUESTION IS THAT IN A ZEAL  TO SATISFY THE TRANSPORT SECTOR WHOLE THE TRADE AND INDUSTRY HAS BEEN GIVEN THE LIABILITY FOR REGISTRATION AND DEPOSIT OF TAX. IS IT RIGHT????

This is not right.

But friends, you have to pay a price for not organising yourself or taking government decisions without protest. Those groups who accept unjust govt decision without protest are doomed to suffer.
