Income from pension is taxable if your pension is above 2,50,000, 3,00,000 in case of Senior Citizen

All types of pensions are taxable under IT if above Basic Exemption Limit

Pension received by armed force is also taxable but family pension received by family of armed force is exempt.

not all family pensions of defence personnel are exempt
