Approval for exempted items mentioned in exemption list

Dear All,

We are providing services to government water supply departments wherein service tax on installation, testing, commissioning of plants & machineries now, are exempted as per new negative list.

My query is that whether should we get any prior approval of local authority such as departmental approval or collector office approval to get the exemption benefit of services as per new notification dated 20.06.2012 bearing number 25/2012.

Your help in the matter will be very helpful to me.
