Appointment of internal auditor

Dear All,

I have an query. Whether a Company (Pvt. Ltd./Ltd), which is into management consulting, be appointed as an Internal Auditor of another Company in terms of Section 138 of the Companies act, 2013, if a director/employee of the said management consulting company is a CA/CWA.

Pl. share your view.

No,a company cannot be appointed as a internal auditor.as per sec 138 ca,cost accountant or a professional decided by board can be appointed.a director or employee cannot represent a company appointed as internal auditor.
