Appointment of foreign national as a director

There is no restriction of appointing foreign national as director of the company . Provided that we have to ensure that there is at least one director who is residing in India. He also entitled to get DIN as any  citizen can get. Regards

The company already has a resident director.

Will any further compliances be required for obtaining DIN for the person ? I read in the MCA site that the person will have to attest the supporting documents ,furnished along with DIR-3 , by Indian Embassy or a notary.

Any further Compliances required like menioned above ?
