This is regarding appointment of a permanent chairman for a private limited company having four 1st directors.
Is it mandatory to appoint a chairman in a privated limited company or is it enough to only select a chairman for the meetings, while conducting meetings? I understand that the directors can select any director as chairman of meeting. However, is there a need for a permanent chairman?
Please clarify.
it is not mandatory to appoint chairman for the meeting in advance. In every board meeting members can select chairman
There is not mandatory requirement for permanant chairman in the company. However, while sending the agenda items to the directors every time, the board meeting of the company is held, the first agenda can be to appoint the Chairman of the meeting.
