Appointment of auditors

Can CAG appoint an auditor for a period of three years? It's an audit firm. The max. terms can be two and each term consists of five years. Am l right? If not, please throw some light on this matter.

CAG appoints auditor for govt companies only which can be maximum of one year

Can you please refer the relevant section?
