A housing society wants to get the accounts audited under mcs act 1960 for the year 2012-13

1. The society had appointed an auditor in the agm held in the month of august 2012, who subsequently is not willing to continue. Therefore the society has approached another auditor for audit.

What are the formalities required to be done by the outgoing auditor and also by the new one and also by the society

2. Further, whether the appointment needs to be done before march 31st 2013 or it can be done in april onwards.

if auditor is removed before expiry of his term then previous approval of CG required if he is not removed in GM.

And if it cause due to casual vacancy then auditor can be appointed in GM or can be filled by Board.

Company should give notice of appointment within 7 days of appointment of auditor

New auditor must have to give notice to registrar within 30 days of receipts of notice of appointment.

And also new auditor will communicate with previous auditor by registered post for to avoid the professional misconduct.
