CASE FACTS:
My CA & CWA Final are due next year.
Recently i saw an ad for a Govt Job where PE2/ Pcc pass are wanted.
My articleship will end next year and its expected that the Job which is offered....will also start nxt year.
And the Written Exam & GDPI are in 2010 end.
QUESTION:
In order to apply, i will hav to submit Xerox of PCC pass certificate along with BCom mark sheet etc
My question is...We all know that doing a job during Articleship is Not permitted as far as "Articled Trainee rules". So my question is...is Applying for a Job, during Articleship... illegal as well (even if i dont join the job)?
I mean, i dont even know if i will get the job BUT i want to gather the expernce of writing a Job Exam, giving Interview etc and if I get the job after my Articleship gets over...thats a Bonus.
SUMMARY:
If i apply for the job & give interview, write the test..am i committing any crime in eyes of respected ICAI?
